Marley (★★★★★ DVD review)

MarleySquareThis film from Touching the Void director Kevin Macdonald, exploring the life, legend and legacy of Jamaican reggae star and Rastafarian figurehead Bob Marley, may be this year’s Senna: a documentary fully worthy of its mercurial, multi-talented and endlessly fascinating subject. Made in collaboration with Marley’s family, it’s the kind of film for which the term ‘definitive’ was coined. Expect a crappy bio-pic next year. ★★★★★
