Phantom (Empire On-Demand Review)

PhantomSquarePhantom (2013) VOD

It’s 1968 and Cold War tensions run deep as a craggy Soviet sub commander (Ed Harris) is given command of a rusting diesel-powered submersible carrying a sinister KGB agent (David Duchovny) and an equally suspicious cargo. But only when they encounter an enemy (i.e. American) merchant ship do the screws start to turn in Todd Robinson’s insubstantial but sporadically engaging Cold War thriller.
